Appreciated its very knowledgeable staff.
Superb service, although a few employees were not very friendly. Well-maintained room and the bed was comfy. The breakfast with a verity of food.

Fantastic service, lovely breakfast with fruits and very large offering and meats. Unbeatable location next to church as well as shops, restaurants and tour buses, cozy ambience.
Beds were too soft.

I have stayed at the Imperial around 6 or 7 times over a number of years and the rooms have never been their best feature but I have to say the room I had this time had two windows both of which opened partially and the only thing you could see out of either window was the airconditioning pipes/ they were literally less than a foot form the window and I dont know if it was because this was the first time I had booked the hotel through your site or because I elected to have a smoking room - either way forgetting about the fact that you literally couldnt see daylight out of the room it was unbearably hot - I understand the hotel dont have aircon but it is one of the worst rooms I have staying in at any hotel and I was very disspointed that when I mentioned this in the morning no one seemed interested in what I had to say - I would say I have always reccomended the hotel but I wont be doing that again and I am very unlkely to stay myself - I have usually been with a party who would take a number of rooms in the past and it is a shame but I think it will be Jurys for me in future also I have only ever got a cab from the airport before but I drove this time and the car park is very a good hike away and I would expect a 4 star hotel to have much better rooms but also valet parking given the distance to the car park - very dissapoinitng and I had taken a friend who hadnt been before so I felt even worse
I have realsied I have compeleted these boxes in the wrong order - the thing I love about the Imperial is the location and the food is always good but the comments I have made above did spoil my trip on this occasion

Outstanding dishes.
Attentiveness of the staff. Delicious and vegan breakfast, incredible location in most shops daily. And near to the main bar / restaurant, the cool bars, restaurants, shops, and river in Cork and communal areas in need of a clean / paint.

Initially we were given a room on the first floor which was next to the noisy kitchen extractor (which operates late at night and early mornings), however, the hotel manager provided us with an alternative room which was very comfortable. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant, the room very comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower! Overall we had a great experience and would recommend the Imperial Hotel due to its central location.
At €119 for a room - the hotel is more expensive than some of it's contemporary peers.

Mostly the staff who were so helpful and friendly. Was attending my dauthers wedding everything about the hotel and the day itself could not be any better. And I would never stay there as I only live four miles away so for anyone visiting cork a pleasant surprise awaits. Thank you.

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Hotel is comfortable, clean and the stuff is friendly and helpfull.
The stuff ignored or did not managed within 2 days to exchange broken bulb in my room, however I requested that.

Efficient friendly atmosphere - oldworld ambience. A resident's lounge would be a useful addition.

The breakfast spread was good, filled with local goodies, made waking up an adventure. Plus, the bar upstairs was cozy, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring Cork. The staff's warmth in the lively atmosphere.
Now, if we had to nitpick, the €20 charge per person per hour for the spa felt a bit steep. Considering we were already splurging on our stay, I'd think some perks could be complimentary.

Location
Hotel room was supposed to be suite. It certainly was not. Our room phone was not working and ruined our first day. Our night was ruined as room did not have temp thermostat and we ended up roasted alive. There was a fan which was useless! I've traveled all over the world and this experience in Cork Imperial was the worst!

We stayed at the hotel because of a family wedding being held there. The staff in particular were extremely friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel.

The chandeliers and festive decorations created a warm, inviting atmosphere. The accessibility was commendable, and I appreciated the kind staff who were always willing to lend a helping hand.
More seating in common areas would be appreciated.

The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. However, my room was a bit cramped and showed some signs of wear, which was disappointing for the price point. Despite these issues, I enjoyed the delicious food in the bar and appreciated the charming atmosphere.
